A beloved American holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble cast that brings a few dozen characters to the sound stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

CASTING: 5-18 actors will be cast to play multiple characters:
• George Bailey
• Young George Bailey
• Mary Bailey
• The children: Pete, Janie, Zuzu, and Tommy
• Pop (George’s Father)
• Mrs. Bailey, aka Ma (George’s Mother)
• Mrs. Hatch, Mary’s mother
• Billy, George’s kind but absent minded uncle
• Mr. Potter, the villain in the storyline
• Clarence, an angel in training
• Joseph, head of the angels
• Mr. Gower, pharmacist from George’s past
• Bert, a policeman
• Ernie, a cab driver
• Tilly, George’s secretary
• People from around town: Violet Bick, Pete, Harry, Grumpy Old Man, Sam, Randall, Charlie, Mrs. Thompson, Horace, Welch, Bridge-keeper, Nick, Carter, Sheriff, Angry Man, Edith
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:
Rehearsals (3-4) to be determined.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
A script will be handed out to you to read designated scenes with multiple people auditioning.
